Skoobi News

Hi! Thanks for visiting this page. The truth is, there's not much new news - we're too busy printing notebooks to have time for PR! What a travesty. Or it a good thing?!

MySkoobi June Event

My Skoobi is featured in Island Parent Magazine's special "Family Summer Guide" as a perfect way to inspire creativity in children this summer, calling our "personalized, easy to make" notebooks "surprisingly inexpensive" and suggesting they are "perfect to use as a summer journal or for writing a story".

My Skoobi is proud to be part of "In My Own Eyes: Photostories by Aboriginal Youth", a photography project in Ontario, Canada, that gives Aboriginal Youth a voice. Each student participating in the project received an 8 1/2" x 11" My Skoobi notebook featuring their original photography on the cover, as well as their name, photograph, location, and logos from the Ontario Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs, Toronto Harbourfront Centre, and Planet IndigenUS on the back. You can visit Toronto Harbourfront Centre to see the exhibit, or view work from the project here:

You can now find My Skoobi notebooks for sale in the gift shop at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, featuring works by Emily Carr and other gallery artists.

We're also very proud to welcome the Ted Harrison Studio as a My Skoobi client this month. See photographs of the Ted Harrison notebooks on the Ted Harrison Facebook Page or visit the studio

Also in June, My Skoobi notebooks hit the waves as part of "Pulling Together", where notebooks featuring artwork by Gibsons artist Ed Hill will be part of the experience for guests and hosts alike.
